Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Truebar (truebar.app) helps software engineers in India book mock interviews with engineers from their target companies. Truebar is run by Aniket Pandey, an individual based in India. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@truebar.app.

What we collect today

We don't use advertising cookies or trackers, and we don't sell your data.

What we'll collect once booking opens

Booking, payments and interview sessions aren't live yet. Before they launch we'll update this page to cover them, including: bookings and feedback; payments through Razorpay (we won't see or store full card or UPI details); and recordings of interview sessions, which we'll only make with your consent at checkout. For interviewers, we'll keep the verified company domain, never the work email address itself.

Why we use it

Who processes it for us

We use these providers to run Truebar. They handle data only to provide their service to us:

This means your data is stored and processed outside India, mainly in Japan. We may share data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and data. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Email support@truebar.app from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also raise a grievance with us at the same address.

Age

Truebar is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes

We'll update this page as Truebar grows and change the date at the top. For significant changes we'll email you before they take effect.
